Business Affiliate Programs
- (1-07) Beware of affiliate programs. Some are not trustworthy. For some companies it would be more ideal if you deal directly with their own affiliate program, provided there are checks and balances with it, and if it's an honest company. You can check out a forum discussing several affiliate programs by clicking here.
There could be thousands of affiliate programs from companies on the internet. Listed here is just a sampling of what's available. If you search many websites of interest, you can check to see if an affiliate program is available.
Linkshare looks like it's making some changes as of 1-07. and Commission Junction (CJ) are well known third party companies who take care of affiliate details for many companies on the internet. I've seen complaints on them, while others like them. Last time I checked their terms, didn't like all I saw, while others might not care.
To sign up as an affiliate, some of these affiliate programs might require an EIN tax number or a Social Security number.
There are other companies doing this also. There are companies who prefer to take care of their own tracking and processing. There can be pros and cons, and you will see many discussions at forums about affiliate programs. Some of them have restrictions on how long you can be an affiliate, if you do not bring in enough business, while others don't set as many limitations.

- Niche marketing, (specialized or unique products) three rules from Enterpreneur.com
Niche marketing is considered to be popular for those who want to enter the auction business. this is because so many people are signing up for courses that include the same products that it's become flooded and more competitive.
