THE DIVINE MERCY OF JESUS PRAYER
DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET OR PRAYER In a vision, Jesus dictated the Chaplet to Saint Maria Faustina in 1935.
To pray the Chaplet, use rosary beads and begin with these prayers:
Our Father...
Hail Mary...
I believe in God... Apostles Creed
On the large bead of each decade, pray:
"Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world." >
On the ten small beads of each decade, or 10 times pray:
"For the sake of His sorrowful passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world."
After five decades to conclude, pray three times:
"Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world."
You may wish to add (three times):
"Jesus, I trust in You."
